Build Yourself Up… Inside & Out!
I believe with my whole heart that there is a beautiful life waiting for you, free from the pains and scars of your abuse. I believe with my whole heart that you can be healed, whole, happy and healthy. Just as much as I want for you to be healthy spiritually, I would admonish you that you take the best care of your health possible. Many of us struggle with weight or health issues as a result of what we endured. I am not obese or really even that overweight, but what I do have a problem with is eating healthy. I am an emotional eater and I know it. When I’m mad, I eat. Sad… east. Hurt… eat. Lonely… eat. Well, there’s a price to pay for that kind of living and it’s more than around the waistline. The way we feel physically feeds directly into what kind of people we accept into our lives and the hopes we have for ourselves. If every time I look in the mirror all I can see is an image I am not pleased with physically, it won’t be long before I am convinced I am not deserving of real love. And before you know it, you will have opened the door to an emotionally abusive or empty relationship. You will mistake someone being there as meaning they “love” you, and even the definition of love will change.
Getting into your best shape is not easy. I love exercise but I hate it just as much. Presently, I’m trying to make a change in the one area that has been hardest for me and that is in my eating habits. All I can say is it is a struggle every day. I am using www.Gyminee.com use to track my nutrition and fitness goals and I am really impressed with the site. Check it out.
I wish you the best of luck in taking care of the most important person in your life for a change: you.
